Why I Became a Health and Well-Being Coach

As a child, I struggled with my weight and self-image. I wish I had a mentor to help me through it. 


Growing up in a single-parent household, I faced my own challenges with staying healthy, dealing with self-doubt, and just navigating life’s ups and downs.


There were times I felt overwhelmed and stuck by my own limiting beliefs, but those

There were times I felt overwhelmed and stuck by my own limiting beliefs, but those tough moments pushed me to transform my life. I learned that real change starts with shifting your mindset and focusing on overall well-being.


Embracing a growth mindset helped me see challenges as chances to grow, and investing in my wellness gave me back my health and energy.


Now, I use my experiences as a life coach to guide people get through their own struggles. 



I'm a life coach for kids, with a youth fitness certification from The American Council of Exercise.

Having a growth mindset is when you believe that you always have something to learn. This mindset can be applied to any facet of your life. 


Having a fixed mindset is when you believe you are as smart or as talented as you are ever going to be. You think you have nothing to learn, and therefore stop thinking change is possible. 


Yes! Most humans naturally have a bit of each mindset. However, those who learn how to feed possibilities in their life, tend to also have a more active growth mindset.


I want to get to know more about you and/or your child and what your struggles and goals are. During this 30-minute FREE mini-coaching session, we will have an opportunity to see if working together will be a fit for all of us. Not every coach is a good fit for each person who needs a coach. I want you and/or your child to be successful, so getting to know what you truly want to work through will help me better understand if my coaching program will be something that will be helpful to you, your child, and your family. 


Health and Well-Being Coaching for Kids:

My Move! Play! Grow! coaching package includes 10 coaching sessions with your child. Each session includes 45 minutes of coaching, along with 15 minutes of physical activity. The coaching includes stories and crafts. The physical activity is modified to fit your child's ability and is primarily focused on teaching your child breathwork, creating movement with games, and yoga. 


If you are local, we can choose to meet in person if our schedules allow. However, the majority of our coaching sessions will be virtual. If we choose to work virtually, I will send you a ZOOM link prior to each session.
